一、求職信的格式、用詞和禮節
　　求職信是有目的地針對不同用人單位的一種書面自我介紹，通常一頁長，書寫一般以商業格式為標準，分開頭，中間和結尾三部分。首尾部份應注意禮貌，通常信的開始要先做自我介紹，如：姓名、學校、所學專業等。中間部分是正文，是求職信的核心，形式多種多樣，一般為自我條件展示、工作展望等內容。先是你寫求職信的目的是什么，目標是什么？是想獲得一個什么樣的具體的職務；其次寫自己對從事此工作感興趣的原因、愿意到該單位工作的愿望和自己具有的資格；接著寫出或推銷出你的優勢或長處，即你的競爭實力；然后談你為什么想為此機構或公司服務？ 你對他們的了解有多少？關于他們的產品或服務、任務、企業文化、目標、宗旨等一切與你自己的背景、價值觀和目標相關聯的東西。在結尾處建議下一步的行動，聯絡地點、聯絡方式，以及最后的感謝語等。這三部分的內容一般占三或四段，可以發揮創意的空間非常的大，不必死守規則，可靈活運用。求職信應與履歷分開，有話則長，無話則短，沒有必要把簡歷的內容重復一遍。英文求職信的模式與中文求職信格式相同。
　　二、禮貌的開頭結尾
　　 (一) 開頭語
　　 1. In reply to your advertisement in Beijing Youth Daily of December 25, I respectfully offer my services for the situation.
　　
　　貴公司12月25日在《北京青年報》刊登招聘廣告，本人特備此函應征該職位。
　　 2. Having heard that the situation of salesman in your company is vacant. I wish to offer my services for it.
　　 據悉貴公司推銷員一職出缺，特備函應征。
　　 3. I have been told by Mr. John, Manager of the Business Book Publishing, with whom I believe you are acquainted, that you are expecting to make some additions to your company in September.
　　據商業圖書出版社經理約翰先生稱，貴公司擬于今年九月份職員若干名，本人擬參加此等職務應征。
　　 4. So I must to say that I have long been hopeful of working for your hospital after graduation, I am sure that I have the privilege of serving in your hospital, I will greatly increase my experience and my education.
　　貴院是本地區最有名氣的一所醫院，我早已渴望能畢業后進入貴院工作，如有這份榮幸，我確信，對我提高行醫能力和經驗必有極大裨益。
　　 5. Dear Sir, after my graduation from college this fall, I am desirous of securing a position that will offer me opportunity in the field.
　　本人將于今年秋天大學畢業，現擬謀求與國際貿易有關的工作，我對貴公司的業務范圍較為熟悉，閣下也許能為我安排一份工作。
　　 6. In reference to your advertisement in the newspaper for an accountant, I believe that I have the qualifications to fit your position.
　　閱讀日報上貴公司的廣告，得悉貴公司招聘會計，我深信符合該項職務所列條件。
　　 7. On looking over today's Economic Daily Times my attention was attracted by your advertisement for a senior clerk. Now as I am desirous of obtaining such a position, I should like to apply for it.
　　拜讀貴公司在今日經濟日報上所刊登的廣告，得悉貴公司欲招聘一位高級職員，本人現在正尋找這一類職位，特此修函應征。
　　 8. I have learned from the newspaper that there is a vacancy in your firm, and I wish to apply for the position.
　　從X報獲悉貴公司目前尚有空缺，故本人擬應征。
　　 9. I wish to apply for the position of editor advertised in the newspaper.
　　我擬應征貴公司今日X報刊登招聘編輯一職的工作。
　　 10. I wish to apply for the position advertised in the newspaper.
　　本人欲申請今日XX報上貴公司刊登的求才廣告所列職位，本人自信符合貴公司所要求的條件。
　　 11. I have heard that perhaps you might need an executive secretary with considerable experience working with companies such as yours.
　　據悉貴公司有意招聘一名具有在類似公司工作經驗的行政秘書，本人擬應征。
　　 12. I would like to apply for the position of secretary which you advertised in the newspaper of June 15.
　　本人擬應征貴公司6月15日在XX報刊登招聘秘書一職。
　　 13. I would like to inquire about the position of business manager that you advertised in the newspaper in September 5.
　　本人意欲應征貴公司于9月5日在XX報上所刊登的招聘業務經理一職。
　　 14. I have learned that you are looking for an engineer has had some general experience in business and I desire to apply for the position.
　　本人獲悉貴公司正在招聘一名具備一般商業經驗的工程師，特備函申請此空缺。
　　 15. Your organization is more than just a business house. It is an institution in the minds of the local public. It has a reputation for fair play and honesty with both employees and customers alike.
　　貴公司不僅僅是商業機構，而是當地的一個知名組織。貴公司的公正和誠實無論在雇員心中還是在顧客心中都享有崇高美譽。
　　 16. For the past four years, while specializing in international trade at college, I have had a secret ambition to work for your organization. I will graduate in July this year.

　　 20. Your advertisement for marketing officer in China Trade news of May 19 has interested me, I wish to tender my services.
　　貴公司5月19日在中國貿易報張刊登招聘市場部辦公室主任的廣告，本人拜讀后極感興趣，特此應召。
　　 21. Referring to your advertisement in International Trade News of May 28 for an accountant, I feel I can fill that position.
　　貴公司5月28日在國際經貿消息上刊登招聘會計的廣告，相信本人能擔任此職。
　　 22. I wish to apply for the position mentioned in your advertisement in today's newspaper, I hope to offer my services.
　　拜讀貴公司今日在XXX報上刊登的廣告，本人特此備函應征。
　　 23. I am enclosing my qualifications which prompt me to make application now.
　　今年七月本人即將從大學畢業，寫此信時，確實不知貴公司目前是否有空缺職位，但隨函附寄的資歷卻使我冒昧提出申請。
　　 24. I will graduate from college in July of this year and I have heard that perhaps you might need an accountant with considerable experience working with companies such as yours. I would like to apply for the position.
　　我將于今年七月份從大學畢業，據悉貴公司有意招聘一名具有相當經驗的會計，我擬應征。
　　 25. Gentlemen: Attention of personnel Manager, I am looking for a position as sales engineer. I think you can help me.

　　 28. In reply to your advertisement in the newspaper of July 28, I wish to say that I am seeking the kind of position you offer.
　　貴公司在7月28日XX報上所刊登的征聘職位正是本人想要得到的。
　　 (二) 結束語
　　 1. If you would like to know more about my ability, I can be available for an interview at any time convenient to you.
　　倘若閣下愿意接見本人以了解我的能力，我將隨時侯教。
　　 2. If you desire an interview, I shall be most happy to call in person, on any day and at any time you may appoint.
　　如貴公司有意面試，本人一定遵照所指定的時日，前往拜訪。
　　 3. Should you entertain my application favorably, I would spare to trouble acquit myself to your satisfaction.
